When schools out, kids are ready to get outside! No matter where you live, kids love a good summer treat. Surprise them with a new end of the school year recipe! Check out these healthy summer treats that will make you the coolest parent on the block.

Very Cherry Popsicles

All you have to do is throw some limeade and frozen cherries in a blender! If you want to make your own limeade to eliminate extra sugars, go for it. After blending the juice, take out the old fashion dixie cups and some small popsicle sticks! Pour in the good stuff and put in the freezer for the night. Nothing like a sweet treat after a long day outside.

Lets Go Bananas!

What is better than chocolate covered bananas? Seriously nothing! Try this easy, peesy summer treat! Melt dark chocolate in the microwave. Take a few frozen bananas and put a stick in the banana. Dip it in the chocolate and let it harden. Want to add something extra? After dipping the banana in chocolate, dip it in sprinkles or nuts. Then, freeze the treats and have them ready for an afternoon treat.

Apple Nachos

Say what? A new and sweet twist on nachos! Slice up an apple into thin slices. Lay them on a large plate and scatter them. All you have to do is drizzle some almond butter on them, drizzle dark chocolate, and some coconut shreds for a fun snack. Don’t want to put it all together? Buy the apple slices packs so your child can put it together without the dangers of using a knife!

Cotton Candy Ice Cream

Ice cream, but with grapes! We are lucky enough to live in a time where we have cotton candy flavored grapes for sale! The best and simplest treat to ever make. Freeze your grapes and it tastes like cotton candy flavored ice cream. It is a great way to get your children hooked on fruits!
