HiConsumption gear site review of the Piggyback Rider

First things first: the Piggyback Rider standing child carrier is a new way to easily carry your child around. Although technically it would also work with any random toddler you can find in Toys R’ Us, for a whole host of reasons, we’re advising you against trying it out with kids that don’t come running to you.

With that out of the way, let’s tout the innovative way the Piggyback Rider child carrier lets you lug your kid (2.5+ years / up to 60lbs) around on your back. The non-skid foot bar lets the little guy or girl get a nice standing grip (better for seeing Mickey’s antics on stage), while the safety harness protects your bundle of (occasional) joy. The handles are also a nice alternative for the child to use instead of your throat.
