Feel safe and secure with our upgraded adult carrier featuring two handles and an integrated child safety harness (included).

The Scout is made of high quality climbing components and engineered for strength and safety, with military grade buckles and webbing. Yet it weighs less than 3 lbs!

Comfortable for Everyone

Our sturdy, unisex design functions like a standard backpack, distributing the child's weight at your core. This allows you to walk standing straight up in a natural posture with your hands free.

Standing securely on a non-skid bar, kids can see over your shoulder with ease. They love the height advantage! Plus, your child's hands are off your face and out of your hair.

Adventures Made Easy

The Scout toddler carrier is designed for simplicity and ease. You and your child can be ready for your next outing in minutes!

Perfect for year-round use, the Piggyback Rider Scout is great for hiking, shopping, watching, wandering, at amusement parks, sporting events, markets and everywhere else you might go.

 Revolutionize Your Family Outings!

Piggyback Rider's award-winning toddler carrier will revolutionize your family outings, encouraging interactivity and bonding.

The Scout is far more maneuverable than a stroller and safer than putting your child on your shoulders. Trust us, once you try the Piggyback Rider, you won't be able to imagine life without it!

    We absolutely adore this thing!

We absolutely adore this thing! My kids love it, makes my husband's life easier (he does most of the lifting these days!) and it's easy to travel with.

    So many uses

    Posted by Cam D

My family purchased the piggyback rider and we have used it for family walks, visiting the science museum. Soon we are planning to use it in the airport and family vacation. It provides my daughter with Independence and a better view when she gets tired. A great investment.

Takes some practice, but it's worth it

I would have liked a little more instructions for how to get it to fit just right and get the weight to carry properly. It took a lot of trial and error to get things working so we were both comfortable, but now my son and I both enjoy it. Haven't used it at a big crowd event yet, just walking around town. Nothing against this product, but a word of warning from pure physics. There's no getting around the weight of the child on your back & shoulders. Mine is 40lbs and if you're not already in good shape that gets cumbersome in a hurry. Wish I would have had one of these a year ago!

Great Product, but can be improved

    Posted by Roma

My Husband was very excited to get this product. We have a 2 year old, she weighs 30lbs. She enjoys using it but gets fed up of it after about 15 minutes. The foot bar should be a bit wider as her foot can easily slip from it. The harness hook is plastic and not as sturdy as I would like it. I would have preferred metal and the hand hold strap the material frayed a bit after 2 uses. Over all it is a fun product, but my very active child prefers to run. We have used the piggy back rider about 5 times since we got it.

A must for hiking with a preschooler

    Posted by Angie

We purchased this product before our family vacation to Glacier National Park in Montana. We have a child that is close to 3 that we knew would not be able to keep up with his older siblings on the hikes. He loved riding on the Piggy Back Rider. It was very comfortable to wear... not once did we experience back strain carrying him around. I highly recommend this product!

    Worth the wait

    Posted by Bob Mc

I saw an advertisement for this when it went viral one day. Earlier in that same day, I had taken a walk with my family, including my two year old son, to a nearby pond in my neighborhood. It was a hot day, and the pond was far enough that I had to carry him most of the way to and from our home. And when carrying him that day, I remember thinking just how heavy he can be. So when I saw the ad for this product, I knew I had to get it no matter how long it took to show up. I knew it was a product I could use for years to come because I have even younger children in the home that can use this after my son. So needless to say, it's a great buy. Very innovative because it solves a problem for many parents. I would highly recommend it to any parent with a young child.

    Best Idea Ever!

    Posted by JPW's Mom

My son is two and a half and 31 lbs and this is a lifesaver! I've only used it a couple of times since I just received it but it's great to be able to walk around markets and parks and not have to have him in a stroller. I do intend on purchasing the lower back support strap because it does tend to tire my back out after so long.

super-comfortable way to carry my son

    Posted by Iain

As soon as I saw this product I knew I had to have it, and I knew it work well. It's such a simple concept, and beautifully executed. It's small size allows us to bring it on air-travel, whereas bringing a huge backpack for him would be really awkward.

    Simple and effective

We purchased the original model several years ago and its been used for both our kids as they grew up (now 4 and 8). Packs down small, pull it out of the trunk for those longer walks - give my younger daughter a birds eye view . A little learning curve for carrier and child regarding where to place the feet - but easy enough and comfortable. A solid purchase and I would recommend to active parents with small children.
